My notes state:
In file /etc/xinetd.d/proftpd
change the line
log_on_success += DURATION USERID
so that it reads
log_on_success += DURATION

In file /etc/proftpd.conf
add
UseReverseDNS off
and
IdentLookups off
toegevoegd. (IdentLookups should be placed in global section)

restart FTP in GUI
