Exciting development.
After sticking a cable tie into fan 3 of one of my Allied Telesis
AT9448Ts/XP 84 Port Layer 2+ switches - stopping said fan - the
hardware status for the fan changed from '7417 rpm' - to 'off'. Take
the tie out - back it goes to 7417 rpm.
What a clever switch.
