the built in soft raid will not do raid zero on two drives. The bluequartz did, but this does not. I have never had any luck with raid 1 or mirror and nothing beats a good backup.
Thanks for the idea. I will try the new RAID Cards next week and let everyone know.
I am using IE6, but will try firefox browser for the phpmyadmin issue tonight.
