I used the NewLinQ on two CBQ servers, whcih were both running a manually
installed dfix.
After the install there is no dfix.sh in /etc/cron.minutely,
there is a /usr/local/sbin/dfix.sh
and now there is
/etc/cron.d/dfix.cron
* * * * * root /usr/local/sbin/dfix.sh
which should run minutely
and
cat /var/log/cron | grep dfix
indicates that it is ran minutely

Jul 19 16:06:01 fsn3 crond[7286]: (root) CMD (/usr/local/sbin/dfix.sh)
