The error message "_Stylist_parseXmlFile(): XML error in file" you quoted 
doesn't cause any issues. I'll fix the code with an update that will stop the 
error message, but all in all it has no negative side effects on the GUI.

The most likely cause of your problem is that CCEd has hung up. Try resolving 
it with this command as root:

/etc/init.d/cced.init restart

If the problem *still* persists, report back the last 100 lines of 
/var/log/messages after attempting to make a change in the GUI.
