Use the raqbackup.sh script found here :- http://www.neuhaus-internet.de/cobalt/raqbackup/

Configure the script on line then copy and paste into a terminal window.

This will download the script and configure it for you.

Run the script (you may need to chmod the script first to give is executable permissions.

This will then backup all the system and put the files (compressed) where you told them to go.

Copy them to the new server and follow the instructions on the link above to restore the backup.

Any problems and I will try to help.

PS - You need to be YUMed up to get the new CMU utility that handles the restore a little better.

AFAIK Bluequartz 'yum' will not update CMU, that only works on BlueOnyx

  try using

  BQ-5102R-CMU-2.66-0BQ31.pkg

  http://devel.blueonyx.it/pub/BlueQuartz/PKGs/BQ-5102R-CMU-2.66-0BQ31.pkg on the BQ machine
