Hi RC.

I am assuming you are talking about an old vsite that was built a while 
back. The most recent WHAM package for Joomla fixes this for BX. To 
verify, try installing a new Joomla package in a different vsite, and 
try to upload an add-on via the gui.

I cant remember exactly what it was that was broken in the old one. I 
think it was the default setting for a couple of directories in the 
config file that were pointing to /tmp ... instead, they now use a local 
tmp directory within the vsite.
