[BlueOnyx:02507] PHP 5.2

Well my BO box is running very nicely, trouble is everything I want to
install needs PHP 5.2, so consequently I am a little disappointed that we
are running such an old version of PHP on a sparkling new BlueOnyx.

Does anyone have a timeframe on when BO will upgrade PHP to the latest and
greatest?

Yes, I know I can spend some dollars over at solarspeed to buy a package to
update the PHP, but much prefer it to be within the core - plus I am very
poor :(

If and when 5.2 becomes available as part of the BlueOnyx distro, would this
be an update handled by yum - or would it be a new install?

I know some of these questions border on hyperthetical but I am reluctant to
migrate off BQ only to find that I would have to rebuild BO later on down
the track.
