Hi. It might be worth trying to make a connection to the FTP server.  I've 
got a BlueOnyx box which reports this too, but it connects fine without any 
problems.  I've guessed it's a reporting problem not a failed servive as the 
FTP server starts from xinetd... or something like that :o)
