Hi,
I think 5.2 won't come along until the next version of CentOS.
Below is a link to a page with instructions on installing 5.3.1 into a separate directory which you then enable on a per vsite bases. This prevents any admin GUI breakages or affecting other vsites.

Can't remember where I found the link and the credit has to goto the author who I'm afraid I don't know either.

Jason Humphrey

Subject: [BlueOnyx:05296] PHP 5.2.0
I was just wondering if PHP 5.2.0 has been timelined yet.
I have an application that I'd like to move from from my old BQ server, but the latest version of PHPGedView needs 5.2.0.
I know that I can purchase 5.2.0, but would much prefer it come along through YUM, because I don't want to break anything!
Regards
Roland
