Hi Michael, et. al.,
I can now add virtual sites with the Synthetic Driver that comes with
HyperV. For those not too keen on editing a lot of files can still
build with the legacy NIC driver, and it will show up as ethX.
So I the problem was that I didn't change all occurrences of eth to seth.
I think the difference was between using xargs and find -exec to find
all occurrences of "eth" from the /usr/sausalito/ directory (exclude
docs directory).
I didn't change venet as previously suggested because the seth0 NIC
doesn't have any of the tools that go with the VENET nic, it's a
standard eth nic and for all intents and purposes operates the same.
Also, I was 90% done with converting all of the occurrences of eth to
seth.
I was wondering if maybe we could add something like this to instances
of the hardcoded "eth" to -> "[se]th" in a future release?
Thanks,
Dennis O.
