IIRC, you don't need any changes on MySQL daemon, just add a user that 
has his ip/ip-wildcard in the host field. See the MySQL manual (i.e. 
http://dev.mysql.com/doc/refman/5.0/en/adding-users.html)  on how to add 
users or use the phpMyAdmin on your BlueOnyx.
