Hi Pete!
In /etc/httpd/conf/httpd.conf there is a line
"#AddDefaultCharset UTF-8", remove the "#" sign and change UTF-8 to
ISO-8859-15 instead. Or try to keep UTF-8.
ISO-8859-1 is the default but doesn't contain the € sign.
That change shouldn't be overwritten with an update.
