Okay, having what, to me, is considered an odd issue. I have a database
user that I use to make nightly backups of the databases. (Running
RAQBackup.sh as well .. call me paranoid.) There are times, though, I'm
getting an odd message in the admin GUI that I just can't figure out.
1) Login to BlueOynx panel as admin.
2) Network Services -> MySQL Status: MySQL connection possible with this
settings.
3) Go to PHPMyAdmin -> Privileges.
4) Select backup-user, and give access to a database.
5) Select database (runs okay) then choose "Select, Lock Tables,
References" as dbase specific privileges.
6) I get two messages
#1044 - Access denied for user 'root'@'localhost' to database
'displayfinder'
You have updated the privileges for 'dbback2'@'localhost'.
The first option is winning, because my changes do not take affect. I
haven't looked too hard to see if there is a pattern to this or not.
Also worth noting I can login via command line to mysql with the mysql
user root/pass with no problem.
