I think object order might not help there, as there is no guarantee that a 
newer database entry has a higher object ID. After all CCE re-uses object IDs 
and always creates a new object with the lowest (free) object ID.

Adding a priority field looks more tempting. 

Additionally we need a "apply changes" button and database object for this (as 
previously suggested). As it is right now the change or creation of a 
blacklist object triggers the CF/MC changes. Which would be unwanted if we 
implement the sort order. Instead the new object allows us to sort things 
first and then - when done - you hit "apply changes" and that then performs 
the updates to sendmail.mc and the rebuild of the sendmail.cf
