I have the previous version running on free ESX without issues took a
small tweak to get vmware tools to install the docs say
./install-script.pl. Will fail but perl install-script.pl works like a
charm
I used http://www.thought
police.co.uk/vmware/howto/cents-5-vmware-tools-install.html as a
reference.
Just use # perl vmware-install.pl over ./vmware-install.pl
