Hi, do you realize you just sent all of your ftp login credentials to the list in clear text?

Subject: [BlueOnyx:05811]  FTP Problems

Hi,

I have recently installed BlueOnxy on my RAQ4 and I have major issues with
the FTP server.

I managed to get it working using the mailing list archives which is fine
from my internal network. When I try and connect from an external network
the connection starts, authorizes and then falls over when trying to do the
'ls -a' to list the folders.

I tried to connect to my server from a remote FTP test service and this is
the result I got:

* About to connect() to 78.105.175.146 port 21 (#0) * Trying
78.105.175.146... * connected * Connected to 78.105.175.146 (78.105.175.146)
port 21 (#0) < 220 FTP Server ready. > USER ataylor < 331 Password required
for ataylor > PASS a26s05 < 230 User ataylor logged in. > PWD < 257
"/.users/86/ataylor" is the current directory * Entry path is
'/.users/86/ataylor' > EPSV * Connect data stream passively < 229 Entering
Extended Passive Mode (|||64060|) * Trying 78.105.175.146... * Timeout *
connect() timed out! * got positive EPSV response, but can't connect.
Disabling EPSV > PASV < 227 Entering Passive Mode (172,16,24,4,231,233). *
Connection time-out * Closing connection #0

Any ideas on how to fix this ??? it is really strange and annoying as
everything else is fine.

ANdy
