[BlueOnyx:07044] Audit log failures since the recent YUM updates

Hello,
Most afternoons since the recent YUM updates I have found my BO machine with
the following errors on the screen and with the web interface and SSH not
responsive ( but other Java receivers are working 100% when I telnet to them
);
audit: audit_backlog=321 > audit_backlog_limit=320
audit: audit_lost=776 audit_rate_limit=0 audit_backlog limit=320
audit: backlog limit exceeded
.... and the 776 increments each and line but if I try and log in I can put
my username in but the password prompt never comes up.
I know that apache is down because neither the admin interface is working
nor are other sites on the machine.
In the logins log I see;

So it gives you an idea of an idea of when it is happening.
Does anyone have any suggestions as to what to look for or how to solve the
issue?
