I can report that it formats without complaint! This is a Dell Dimension 5150 with 2x 1.5 TB SATA disks.

Anaconda was confused as to which ethernet interface (I) considered eth0... I considered the internal Intel interface eth0, but Anaconda chose the installed 3Com PCI card... but hey, it is installing right now.

Now to double-check it formatted a RAID 1 automatically...
