[BlueOnyx:08171] vacation.pl behaviour

I had an interesting little problem that threw me the other day which I
thought I would share as it took me several hours to solve.

The vacation.pl script for all vsites was coming up with  errors like: 

Aug 19 12:41:14 onyx1 sendmail[2883]: p7J2fEfV002883: p7J2fEfW002883: return to sender: Service unavailable
Aug 19 12:41:14 onyx1 sendmail[2883]: p7J2fEfV002883: Losing ./qfp7J2fEfV002883: savemail panic
Aug 19 12:41:14 onyx1 sendmail[2883]: p7J2fEfV002883: SYSERR(jess): savemail: cannot save rejected email anywhere

Aug 19 14:29:41 onyx1 sendmail[6070]: p7J4Tfq2006070: SYSERR(root): rewrite: excessive recursion (max 50), ruleset canonify


What it turned out to be was I had a vsite with the same name as the server name.


As soon as I change the name of that vsite to something elese all worked fine.
