Hmm,  that might be the problem, I will check when back on Monday
Cant remember if the text was with some special Danish characters.

do you have some special charakters in your Text?
I also noticed it if I try to use üöä or ß.
I changed it to ae, oe, ue and ss and it is working.
Seems that the vacation message / GUI cannot handle special characters in vacation message.

If I enter a message in the "auto-reply" and press save
The messages is saved to users .vacation_msg, but in the GUI the auto-reply field
Is empty.  If the messages is very short - like - "test", then the text is shown correctly.

A bit annoying, customers doubt that the vacation messages is set correct
