Edit /etc/yum.repos.d/sl.repo, activate the "sl-security" repository 
and run a "yum update" again. That will fix it.

The CD was rolled up with the "sl-security" repository enabled. So you 
now have a few newer libraries installed than present on the "normal" SL 
repository. Which then causes conflicts. You can leave the "sl-security" 
repository enabled. When I get back from my holiday, I'll make it a 
default in BX that "sl-security" is enabled.
