Hi,
On a new 5107 installation i am having some mail problems, and i am hoping for you help :-)
Mail send from the server would have mailheaders like this:
Return-Path: <soeren at straszek.dk>
Received: from [192.168.1.15] ([92.246.30.157])
(authenticated bits=0)
by localhost.localdomain (8.14.4/8.14.4) with ESMTP id pBRAkBaW007904
for <gateway at straszek.dk>; Tue, 27 Dec 2011 11:46:12 +0100
From: =?iso-8859-1?Q?=22S=F8ren_S=2E_Straszek=22?= <soeren at straszek.dk>
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii
Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit
Subject: test

Mime-Version: 1.0 (Apple Message framework v1251.1)
X-Mailer: Apple Mail (2.1251.1)
X-Virus-Scanned: clamav-milter 0.97.3 at webserver1.straszek.dk
X-Virus-Status: Clean
X-Spam-Status: No, score=-1.0 required=5.0 tests=ALL_TRUSTED autolearn=ham
version=3.3.2
X-Spam-Checker-Version: SpamAssassin 3.3.2 (2011-06-06) on
webserver1.straszek.dk
And that causes spamfilter an mta's to reject the mail as spam - i think it is the "by localhost.localdomain" part that is the problem
The output of "hostname" is webserver1.straszek.dk
And the /etc/hosts file look like this:
# /etc/hosts
# Auto-generated file. Keep your customizations at the bottom of this file.
#END of auto-generated code. Customize beneath this line.
127.0.0.1 localhost.localdomain localhost webserver1.straszek.dk webserver1.straszek.dk webserver1.straszek.dk
# Auto-generated hostname. Please do not remove this comment.
