Well, I've done some testing on a fresh server using the package from
Solarspeed. Trying to install via the GUI Third Party Software manually
just kept refreshing for 15 to 20 min, so I cancelled and installed via
the command line. The first run installed the ImageMagik and
dependencies, but not the MOD_PHP package. I re-ran and all installed
fine, however, I get this when trying to restart Apache...

[root at www1 ~]# /etc/init.d/httpd restart
Stopping httpd: [FAILED]
Starting httpd: [Fri Jul 08 15:36:08 2011] [warn] NameVirtualHost
208.38.145.23:80 has no VirtualHosts

(98)Address already in use: make_sock: could not bind to address 0.0.0.0:80
no listening sockets available, shutting down

                                                           [FAILED]

However, httpd is running fine. I did a test install of Wordpress 3.2
and, although the install went well, it complained of not enough memory
for Plugins, Blog and News sections on the admin Dashboard for
Wordpress. I tried raising the memory limit in the GUI PHP section and a
few suggestions found during Google searches, none helped. I rebooted,
all good. Then I tested the uninstall and it reverted to 5.1.x as
expected. After that, a second install of the Solarspeed package caused
the same Apache restart issue as above. Anyone know why the restart is
not working afterward or how to get Apache to restart without reboot?
After the reboot, httpd restarts without issue.

Thanks, Robert
