Hi Chris

I have managed to fix it

it was the missing memory limit in the php  GUI settings (no option was showing to enter a value)   and was also  in the php.ini , I have manually  put a limit in the php file then
restarted httpd and cced.init 
Now have the memory limit back  in the GUI php  settings and php.ini 

that fix the error

Well, I can put the file there, but I do not know where to call it from.

Yes, it is.

So that looks right.   I'm stumped!   Still we get:
