Thanks for the info Michael. I am using your php 5.3.9 but it chokes on the
content so I can blame Zend I guess :(

In any event it was email marketing software. I was able to export the
database and recover the lists and subscribers in excel and install PHPlist.
It looks like it will work for my needs but I will check out OpenEMM too.
