Today, I have a similar problem after yum update in 5106R.
I  was not able to find out the fix in this list..

>> When displayed in the GUI
>>    PHP 5.2+ is required

>> when using browser http://host.domain.tld/phpMyAdmin
In my case :  (HTTP 500 INTERNAL ERROR)

Any advice me please.
