[BlueOnyx:13502] pecl-apc issues

I have a customer running smf 2.0.4 with version of APC (3.1.9) pecl 
there is a newer version but my question is this is there still a memory 
leak or has it been fixed.

There is a new version APC 3.1.13

Her site need to have it for caching as it get a ton on post ansd activity
Load like crap.

all the site on that server run fine on that vps

But the SMF part of the site just sucks

Has the pecl memory leak been fixed in version3.1.13?

but no other info since 2012

how you I yum update the current php53-pecl-apc

I did try yum update php53-pecl-apc but it said it was current.

Any help or advise would be greatly appreciated
