Jim,
I removed the new Mysql 5.5.3x package did the yum update but know I 
have two VPS's
not sure if related.
Joomla 3.2.0 or the server now gives this error:
  PHP Warning:  curl_setopt_array() [<a 
href='function.curl-setopt-array'>function.curl-setopt-array</a>]: 
CURLOPT_FOLLOWLOCATION cannot be activated when safe_mode is enabled or 
an open_basedir is set in 
/home/.sites/22/site13/web/libraries/joomla/http/transport/curl.php on 
line 146

Answer are all over the place Joomal.org support claims is it a server, 
PHP or mysql issue
at this point I have no clue or answers, from update the MySql and or 
update the PHP.

At this time I am just waiting for a good stable answer and fix.
