[BlueOnyx:12194] Newlinq problem

<sigh> first time installing a new PKG bought through the BlueOnyx 
store.  So I picked up new PHP, got NewLinq all set up on the server, 
and then installed the PHP that showed up in the "Available New Software 
List".  It goes through the motions, winds up at 100% and says it's 
complete.

Problem is, it doesn't work.   It still shows up  in the "Available New 
Software List".   And the PHP isn't installed.  phpinfo.php on one of 
the sites still shows the default PHP Version 5.1.6.

Advice?
