Please look in /boot/ instead and see which vmlinuz-2.6.32* files are
there. That are your actual kernels.

If there is more than just one kernel present, you can edit
/etc/grub.conf accordingly to make them available. Just make a copy the
existing kernel lines in grub.conf and edit them accordingly.
