This sort of thing can drive you batty anytime you touch DNS anywhere on a
network.

I've gotten in the habit of stopping ALL browsers, then starting only a
single, fresh browser with a flushed cache any time I'm doing DNS-related
stuff.  Also, clearing the browser cache with every network change.
