Yes, Mailman is supplied out of the "upstream" OS YUM repositories as
provides by CentOS or Scientific Linux:

On 5106R:
Version    : 2.1.9
Release    : 6.el5_6.1

On 5107R/5108R:
Version     : 2.1.12
Release     : 17.el6

What's that feature that you need? Maybe it's worth the hassles to build
a separate (newer) Mailman and to distribute it via the BlueOnyx YUM
repositories.
