[BlueOnyx:12007] delete account from shell?

is there an easy way to delete users from the shell as admin/root?

Does "userdel -r [username]" work? Or is there BO specific GUI/Database 
type stuff I'll mess up by bypassing the GUI?

I have a long list of terminated users that I need to remove, and the 
repetetive task in the gui  of search, click, confirm, wait, search, 
click, confirm, wait, etc. is getting really old, really quick.
