Hi Steffan
Are both of the servers fully YUM updated?   If not, please do so and 
reboot.   If the problem continues, then in your BIOS you may want to 
check to see that all the power controls are disabled (for instance AMD 
PowerNow, Intel SpeedStep, etc.)  It may be that the kernel is unable to 
properly accommodate the power saving management features.
