Yes the working IP address is the same as the sites addresses.

one site would be accessible by the IP address, since they all share the 
same domain. 

The server GUI is accessible by any IP address I assign to the server.

Nameservers are working and I pinged them as well.

I looked at /etc/resolv.conf and it shows

nameserver  ip address

nameserver  second ip address

search  domainname.com

domain domainname.com

I can ping from shell ip addresses and domain names

Thanks for the input as I'm stumped. Every time I change the IP, the whole 
server stops, with the exception of me being able to access the server by 
the new IP and secondary IP. All email stops and no domains can be reached.
