Yeah, Apache had thrown the towel on that box for a bit. Root cause was
a number for freak accidents which rarely happen all at once. RAID
rebuild with two large RSYNC transactions (one incomming, one outgoing)
had all overlapped somehow.

But all things considered the hardware handled it pretty well. Once I
killed the RSYNCs (to let the RAID rebuild catch up) it all started to
hum along nicely again.
