OK, I found a note on a site about using includepkgs= in the .repo file to
only allow some packages from a repo.

I did that and added the one thing I wanted and ran a yum update to test and
it did not try to replace anything.

I then did the yum install and there were no RPMS that would cause a
problem.

I just wanted to post this for others who might be in the same situation.
