[root at master ~]# route -n|wc -l
41315

That master node has more than 41000 routes at this moment. Somehow and
somewhere along the line there was a kernel error, which messed up the
way how OpenVZ and the Kernel play together. Evident to this were also
the four stuck "vzctl destroy 103" commands that were still sitting there.

So the best bet to get this kernel related issue "unstuck" is to reboot
the master node.
