Like I said: The problem was a kernel issue. The routing table usually
gets updated when a VPS or the service "vz" is restarted.

Due to a previous kernel error this didn't happen anymore and the
routing table had +41000 entries. A lot of them were duplicates.

The resolve was to reboot the box to clear the kernel issue. Afterwards
(as this is a cluster that uses DRBD and Heartbeat) all that was left to
do was to wait until Heartbeat made the cluster primary, so that /vz was
getting mounted and that the service "vz" could be started.

I did speed that along by making the box primary via manual intervention.

That was all there was to do: Reboot, make primary (so that /vz gets
mounted) and let service "vz" start the VPS's.
