Colin,
I you have DFix2 from Compass / Solarspeed
edit your /etc/hosts.allow ad the IP
then restart sec
/etc/rc.d/init.d/sec restart
then to check do
dfix2.sh start

Look to see if the IP you added is listed

Nope. Just lists localhost, local IP and DNS servers.

I added two IP addresses to hosts.allow and restarted sec but not showing as trusted.

Just looking at the sec config files to see if I can get my head around them :)
