[BlueOnyx:15707] Issue creating archive file greater than 1 Gb

Hi

On a 5108R  server , We are trying to back up a site from development area and transfer it to live domain  using some software that  Creates the back up as a compressed file.
(Site is a worpdress site and plug-in is backupbuddy)

It works perfectly well, so long as we keep the data folders selected under a total of  1Gb, as soon as we try to run it with files totally over 1 gb, the  Backup stops and fails at just under 1Gb

What is the restriction on 1Gb files, and how can I change it on BO server,  I have checked the limit.conf and  nothing in there, no php timeouts, php memory limits are fine,  and no other  other issues, it  just stops as soon as it reaches 1Gb in size

Any pointers would be apprciated
