[BlueOnyx:14856] sendmail[3838]: alias database /etc/mail/aliases.db out of date

Hi everyone, hope you are all ok.

 

We have had a couple of sendmail updates which took my Spam and ClamAV
milters out.

I have put the necessary code back into sendmail.mc and re-made.

Milters work again and spamassassin and Clam AV are working ok.

 

Whilst checking in maillog I noticed the error

 

sendmail[3838]: alias database /etc/mail/aliases.db out of date

 

Tried to restart sendmail and also re-booted the host.

 

Could anyone please tell me how to re-build the alias database safely.

Worried about taking anything down.
