[BlueOnyx:14974] Remote Backup on Aventurine

[RC Barker]

I am trying to test login for Key-based (passwordless) SSH authentication:
When I try I get this error;
ssh root at myhost.abc.net
ssh_exchange_identification: Connection closed by remote host

Checking the files on both servers the date and file sizes are all different

Do I need to remote all files and start over?
Or is there a way to fix?
