[BlueOnyx:15367] Cannot create sub-domain

Ok, 5107R, fully patched, AV-SPAM package is only addition.
Enabled Subdomains under server management, network services,
sub domains.  Go to the virtual site in question, enable sub domains,
select Add, fill in the host name and directory, click save.  Screen
refreshes and no sub added (and no directories created).

What am I doing wrong??/
