If you want to use an .htaccess first add this to your
in the site include file save and restart httpd

vi etc/httpd/conf/vhosts/sitexx.include
<Directory /home/.sites/10/sitexx/web/>
AllowOverride All

</Directory>

then you can use wordpress .htaccess on that site
