For me, the symptom looks pretty much identical as the issue I described 
in message
[BlueOnyx:18551] PHP disabled after upgrade 5108R to 5208R

All sites not owned by admin loose their php settings.

I hope some kind soul can find the course of this, in order to prevent 
it from happening again.
