I have had a similar recurring issue where the roundcube DB for a vsite disappears. 

It has happened 3 times to 2 customers. Each time I uninstall roundcube from the vsite and reinstall and it's fine. I haven't had time to dig in and troubleshoot beyond this quick fix.
