Yes, that's likely.  Keep in mind that a BlueOnyx system isn't intended 
to be an Enterprise Linux system with some things tossed on top.  It's 
an appliance.  In accordance with this philosophy, some things on a 
BlueOnyx system are going to work a bit differently for someone who is 
accustomed to running a "vanilla" install.

SSHD functions can be controlled via the BlueOnyx GUI (ie: allow root or 
not, change listening port).   Is there something more advanced you're 
looking to do than that?
