Yeah, you can only select the PHP version for a Vsite if you use suPHP
or PHP-FPM for it.

DSO and DSO + mod_ruid2 will use whatever PHP version you configured
globally for the whole server. See "Security" / "PHP" for that.

But generally: Use PHP-FPM. It's fast, secure and very flexible.
